STUDENT APPLICATIONS

The Canadian College of Funeral Service offers a variety of programs with detailed descriptions to help every applicant.

Late applications may be accepted, an application fee and a late application fee will apply.

How to Apply

(Applications are not necessary for the pre-need sales program, labour mobility preparation or continuing education courses):

Review and choose which program you want to apply for.  Please visit our Programs page.

Prepare your documents (All documents must be uploaded online in PDF format on the Student Application Form).

  • All applicants need to provide:
    • Two Letters of Character Reference * (For further details please see Application & Admission Process)
    • Transcripts
    • Vulnerable Sector Check
    • Proof of Hepatitis B Immunization
    • Proof of N95 Respiratory Mask Fit Test
  • Licensure applicants need to provide:
    • Sponsor Agreement Form

Include the “Reference Document” for each of your references. Your reference must complete the “Reference Document” form and include it along with their reference letter. (Click here to download the Reference Document.)

If you are applying for any of the licensure programs you must include a signed “Sponsor Agreement Form” with your application. (Click here to download the Sponsor Agreement Form.) Students applying for the Foundation Program DO NOT require this form.

The application fee of $115.00 (GST/HST included) is due upon submission of your application and is non-refundable.
An invoice will be emailed to you.

All enquires relating to admission to any program of studies at the Canadian College of Funeral Service may be directed to the Admissions Office at admissions@ccfs.ca or toll free at 1-888-797-9941.

No application will be considered complete until the Canadian College of Funeral Service receives all the supporting documents, transcripts, and fees. If you are accepted to a program, a letter of acceptance, a school calendar, lesson schedule and invoice will be emailed to you.

ESL Students:

A command of the English language, both oral and written, is necessary for successful completion of any program at the Canadian College of Funeral Service . ESL students may be required to complete an English language competency exam prior to acceptance.
