Our academic school year is well under way.  We have a great group of students from six different provinces that have been working hard since September.  Not only are they busy working on their weekly lesons and assignments but will be preparing for seminars and exams in spring. We wish them all luck and success not only with the school program but also with their workplace apprenticeship training.

Congratulations to Ambber Silvester

CCFS staff and students would like to congratulate and acknowledge Ambber Silvester, Level I apprentice in Manitoba, on winning the Funeral Service Association of Canada (FSAC) national scholarship award.  Ambber is an apprentice working with Sneath-Strilchuk Funeral Services in Dauphin and Korban Funeral Chapel in Winnipeg and has successfully completed the level I funeral director and embalmer program with CCFS.  Ambber’s accomplishment was recognized at the FSAC conference and tradeshow in Montreal, May 30-June 2.
